A 4 day project intervening on the streets of Digbeth in collaboration with Gian Paolo Cottino and S Mark Gubb with extremely kind help from Laurie Neville.
Our starting point for the collaboration was one of Bob & Roberta Smith’s ‘Centre for Contemporary Arts’ which had been de-constructed. Everything we created over the course of the project was made from this original material.
The Modes of Al-Ikseer
2009 - ongoing
A large - scale multi faceted performance project incorporating installation, live music, sculpture and lighting techniques and officially launching at Arnolfini, Bristol in Feb 2010 before touring to 5 cities. The piece was piloted at the Spill Festival of Performance 2009.
Produced by Simon Poulter and supported by Arts Council England and the touring venues.
